Our Team

In 1987, Audrey founded DTC Inc. Prior to starting DTC, Audrey served as a clinical and research medical physicist in Nuclear Medicine for the University of Kansas Medical Center. She worked and consulted with the International Atomic Energy Association for 13 years to establish Nuclear medicine programs around the world including Africa, South America, and Asia. She served on the American Board of Radiology oral exam committee in Nuclear Medicine. 

Mirela joined DTC in December 1993. She provides Diagnostic Medical Physics services for imaging programs which include radiography, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, mammography, MRI, and CT. Mirela has a M.S. in Physics. She is American Board of Radiology certified and MQSA qualified. She has State of Florida Licenses in Nuclear Medicine and Radiology Physics and is a Qualified Expert in Radiation Safety for the State of Missouri. 

Jiping joined DTC in January 2013. Previously, he served as a Senior Programmer in the Department of Radiology, the Miller School of Medicine, University of Miami, and as a Support Scientist in the Division of Cancer Immunology and Tumor Immunotherapy at the City of Hope National Medical Center. He provides Diagnostic Medical Physics services in Nuclear Medicine. Jiping’s credentials include an M.S. and Ph.D. in Chemical Physics from the Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics in China, and Postdoctoral Fellowship in Medical Physics Imaging from the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. He is American Board of Radiology certified and a Qualified Expert in Radiation Safety for the State of Missouri. 

Chuck joined DTC as a medical physicist in July 2015. Before that, he was a Medical Physics resident at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City, OK from July 2013 to July 2015. Before that, he was a Graduate Assistant while enrolled in the Medical Physics program at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center from August 2011 to June 2013. He provides Diagnostic Medical Physics services for imaging programs which includes radiography, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, MRI, and CT. Chuck’s credentials include an M.S. in Medical Physics from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City, OK. He is American Board of Radiology certified, and MQSA qualified. He is also on the list of “Qualified Experts in Radiation Safety” for the State of Missouri. 

Josh  joined DTC in July 2017.  He received an M.S. in Medical Physics from  Purdue University in 2015 and completed his residency in Diagnostic  Medical Physics at the Oklahoma University of Health Sciences Center in  2017.  He provides services in Diagnostic Medical Physics, Radiation  Safety, and X-Ray Shielding Design and Evaluation.  He is certified by  the American Board of Radiology in Diagnostic Medical Physics, MQSA  qualified for mammography, a Qualified Expert in Radiation Safety for  the State of Missouri, and a Registered Physicist for the State of  Kansas.

Crystal joined DTC in July 2019. Prior to her work at DTC she was a nuclear medicine technologist at a large hospital in central Florida for sixteen years. The last six of those she was the hospital’s Radiation Safety Officer creating and implementing a highly effective radiation safety program. Crystal runs DTC’s Florida office providing support to nuclear medicine departments. Crystal’s credentials include an M.S., in health physics, from Radiological Technologies University VT and she is certified by the American Board of Health Physics (ABMP). She has Florida state licenses in medical health physics and nuclear medicine technology with her CNMT and ARRT (N) certifications, providing clinical expertise that is directly translated into practical solutions.

Tami joined DTC as the operations manager in March of 2018. She has 30 years’ experience in radiology management including financial; equipment procurement; expansion planning; regulatory compliance (ACR, TJC, MQSA, NRC) and radiation safety.  She obtained her BA in healthcare management from Ottawa University in 2009 and became a certified radiology administrator with the American Hospital Radiology Administrators association (AHRA) in 2012. Tami acts as liaison between clients and the medical physics by providing guidance and support utilizing her expertise in the hospital imaging environment.  She also manages the operational side of the business.  

Greg joined DTC in June 1994. He brings almost 30 years of educational experience to DTC as a teacher and adjunct professor at a local university. He assisted Dr. Wegst in developing an 80-hour course for physicians who wish to use I-131 in the treatment of thyroid disease. Working through the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists, they expanded this course into a full board certification program for physicians in Nuclear Endocrinology obtaining the Nuclear Regulatory Commission's recognition as a sub-specialty board. He serves as the Nuclear Medicine Coordinator and assists our Nuclear Medical Physicists in the provision of Nuclear Medical Physics services. As Vice-President of DTC, he assists Dr. Wegst in the day-to-day business activities associated with running the DTC business enterprise.
